Yep, today is the last day of November. It wasn't feeling a lot like Christmas, but, I woke up to snow today! Yes, I am not the winter lover of the family. I actually would hibernate all winter if I could. BUT, I love looking at the snow. It is so pretty and festive. I especially like the snow on the trees. (especially ours because it is half dead and in the summer, there is nothing on it!).
On the weekend, we decorated. The kids have been doing Christmas crafts. We have the music going. We have some activities planned. BUT there were two things missing- the tree, and the snow. Well, now we are down to just the tree missing- which should be coming this weekend! Just got to get this tank out of the living room!
Although winter is not my favourite season- I would rather it be spring or fall! I LOVE December. It is festive, and brings good cheer. I love watching the kids get so excited (and having some type of bribery tool is great!). December warms me inside (wait, didn't the Grinch say something like that?)! It is true, as cold as it gets outside, December makes me happy and warm!
