A busy weekend

I thought I would post about our busy, but great weekend!

On Friday, we went with our Friends Andrea, Landon and Neely to a play place, and then headed to the mall to pick up the rest of the stuff that we needed to make teacher presents for the teachers at the preschool. I will post a picture when we are done making it all! Then, we had Graham over for dinner, and the kids made him watch a Muppets Christmas with them. Closer to the end, we realized that the kids were gone to the kitchen to colour, and Brett was sleeping!

On Saturday, we had family pictures. We have been going to Superstore for those since Bryce was 6 months old. They did a great job (I have pictures in here, but they are pictures of pictures and do not do them justice, but you get the idea!). Then we went over to Ravi and Esthers house. They made us a great dinner, the kids played with Julian, we all had time to visit, and meet their newest edition- Natalie! She is beautiful!

Today, I cleaned. And cleaned! I got a couple projects done too (see the picture). And managed to sneak in a trip to the dollar store to pick up a couple things I have been meaning to go and get!

Sunday is usually slow cooker day. BUT, I found this neat idea and wanted to try it. It was really easy, and a nice fall/winter meal- it was soup and sandwiches. With the sandwich though, I took a pack/roll of pilsbury crescents, put them together back to back and laid ham and cheese up it. Then folded over the "tips" of the rolls. Then I baked it. It was so good- the kids even loved it! It was basically a fancy grilled cheese!

We hope everyone had a great weekend!!

This is one of my projects- it is a christmas tree made out of felt. The pieces are felt too, so the kids can decorate and change it all season!

These are the new pictures, up on the wall!

This one is blurry, but this was how we got him to co-operate- BALLS!
This is my FAVOURITE!! It shows them perfectly!
This is our family picture for this year.
And my little man, at 2.5 years!!
Danika, the giraffe lover- she was so happy that they had a giraffe!
