Brett and I usually don't do Valentines day. Our anniversary is in March, and well, we both agree, that it is one of those made up things. But, I have to admit, I love celebrating it with the kids! These made up holidays are for the kids, and I am perfectly fine with that! (Although I did get Brett some chocolates- but from the kids!)
So, tonight, I decided to start the kids day off right tomorrow. Bryce was a bit upset when Danika came home with all these cards and treats from school today. So, why not get the day going good as soon as they get up!
Here is my plan!
I made some heart garland, which is hanging in the living room (fingers crossed the tape keeps it up until the morning!)
Then I set the table for Breakfast, with the kids Valentines ready for them!

No, we are not eating Chocolate for breakfast, I draw the line somewhere! I am making pink pancakes, and if I succeed they will be in heart shapes, and maybe even this lace type one I saw here. I won't be using that recipe, but the idea!
We are going to do some Valentines crafts, and have a special valentines snack. We also have to make a valentines snack (cupcakes) for Danika's school on Wednesday, so we will throw that in too!
And, at some point, we will be eating those chocolates!
