Oh, what a weekend!

Well, it is almost over. And I honestly can't believe how much we got done in one weekend! I have to give Brett most of the credit, he pulled some late nights. But, it is basically done! Our basement that is! He worked hard this weekend, especially last night and today to get things done around here. We have spent today- ALL OF IT- organizing, cleaning, and getting our house back in order. I am exhausted, so I am going to explain through pictures...

This is the playroom! It looks a bit squishy in the pictures, but it isn't too bad. It would be better without the couch, but it is too big to get out now, and eventually this will be the kids tv room, so we are making due right now- plus they have toys in the living room and their bedrooms too! This will be a play/craft room!

See they are doing crafts already (well, they did for most of the day too! The black circles on the wall are chalk board circles, and the white are dry erase! Can you tell they helped me put them on the wall?)

This is the other side of the room. Nice comfy couch for reading on! (and it is our old leather one, so it is easy to be cleaned!)

The wall with nothing on it is where Danika's Barbie house is now. That thing was too big for her room now that Christmas happened)

My laundry room! Brett bought me the laundry organizing system on the left- and I LOVE it!

Um, the hall way- stairs to the right, kids playroom to the right, laundry straight ahead and storage on the left!

The fish tank! Yep, this is it- Brett says that I never post about them, so here they are!

This is Big Mac- can you see him?

And, since we needed a place for all of our movies, so we took the big shelf to the basement, and put this on in the entry- it looks much more open now!

And the empty living room! I am hoping to get a sectional at some point!

I even cleaned up the kitchen!

And this is the result of a TON of purging, our tv room!

The view across the room!

And the other way.

And here is most of the tank- there is a bit more on the left.

Can you tell the kids like the playroom? They were down here for most of the day!

Ahhhh, now it is time for a snack, and some tv!

Looks great - does that mean I have to stay down there with them?
