We got up and got ready to go for breakfast. We took them to their favorite place to have Breakfast- Smitty's! You would think that was weird for kids, but they have a big fish tank in the middle of the restaurant and we always get a table next to it. And breakfast is so good! Yesterday the kids had a Sundae Waffle- basically a waffle, with strawberries, ice cream scoop, chocolate sauce and whipped cream on it! (yes they ate every bite!)
After we had breakfast, we took them over to the indoor playground. It had snowed like crazy, so the outside playground was out! They had a blast in there! Bryce even surprised us! He usually can't climb up the "ladder" at the entrance, but up he went. And with a little help on a couple other parts, we made it to the slide. The slide that freaks even me out at the top of. Well, he sat down- I went to get in behind him, and he just went- going down the slide all by himself! Danika still needed help on there. After doing that a few times, Brett convinced Danika to go beside him. And eventually on her own! YAY- I was so proud of both of them!
After some time at the play place it was time to come home. Danika did some crafts, while I cleaned up and Bryce had a good nap. Then we had a picnic dinner, hot dogs, salad and turnovers for dessert- all while watching The little Mermaid!
