Light the Night 2011

Sitting here tonight, I realized there is only about 5 months until the light the night walk for this year. I think I made our team about this time last year, so I thought I would do it again for this year.

This year the light the night walk is on october 1. It is still at eau Claire market, and events start at 5:30. I would love to raise more money this year, than we did last year. I would like to have a bigger team! Yes, I have high hopes, but in a cancer patients life, HOPE is a huge part of it!

I survived having ALL, with a huge thanks to many, I also have to thank the many research teams, and people like you who join, and donate to these things! You may be saying- "well you survived, things are good, let's just move on, why donate, why walk?" well, we need to walk, and donate for all those who are dealing with it, who will deal with it, and who will know people, just like you all do, that has it! We have to help the researchers, so they have the money to find a cure! If no one donated before, where would I be?

So, I sit here tonight, and plead to you- come walk with us. Have a fun night with us, and do it for a good cause! Go to the link, join the team, and start your own fundraising. I am going to challenge my team, let's see who is the best fundraiser. The top fundraiser will receive a special medal from us!

I have also challenged myself, I would like to double the goal I have set for myself on the site! I am going to start this by putting all of the money we get from returning bottles right to the light the night walk. The first bunch will be going in in the next week or so, so watch for an update on here with how much. I will post an update on the blog each time, and in September will add the whole total to the walk!
