visits with family

We always love having visitors. Gives us something to do, adult conversation, and someone else for the kids to bug for awhile!

Yesterday my Grandpa's brother came by- My Great Uncle Bill, Great Auntie Shirley, and their son Greg. We had a great visit and even invited Leslie over- she brought Brooklynn and Taylor, so they could meet them too. We haven't seen Uncle Bill and Auntie Shirley since our wedding in 2005- it has been over 5 years! And Brett had never met Greg- and it has been many more years since I saw him last!

We had a great visit, did some catching up, the kids jumped all over them- and didn't play shy at all- which was nice. Auntie Shirley brought me some old pictures from when I was growing up. I was trying to show the kids- they didn't believe Ryan was Ryan- they thought it was a picture of Brooklynn (just shows how much they look alike!). She even brought some old pictures of my mom and Aunt- which Danika and Taylor did not believe were them!

Thanks again for coming to visit us Uncle Bill, Auntie Shirley and Greg. Hope to visit with you again soon.

This weekend coming up we are going to go visit with my cousin Jessica, her husband Murray and their cute little boy Zach- I can't wait- it has been awhile since we saw them too!
