light the night reminder

Well, Brett sort of reminded me that light the night is a little over 3 months away. How did he remind me? Well, the way any loving husband does- with a "friendly" competition.

We are now trying to see who can raise the most money. So, I am coming here to plead with all of you that read about our family daily. If you have thought in the past to donate money to a good cause, this is it. Not only will you help me win our competition, but you will help a great cause, which is unfortunately too close to us.

It has been 18 months since I was told those horrible words- you have cancer- Leukemia to be exact. It was a horrible roller coaster, and thankfully one that I overcame fairly quickly. But, I was a lucky one, honestly, even my doctors have said that. But some people have not been so lucky. There are people finding out as you read this. They are finding out that their lives have been turned upside down.

Your donation will help people like me who had their lives turned upside down. Please, if you can, donate what ever you can, and help someone turn their life back to normal.
