It is so hard to believe that he is two. As we sit and think about everything he has done in his 2 years so far, we are amazed! We went from only having one child, not knowing how we could love another, to having this amazing little boy that we can't imagine life without! Growing up, I know my parents used to tell my brother and I that they loved both of us the same amount (I secretly thought there was no way that was true, because I was the first, and I knew they loved me more- Sorry Ryan!), but it is true, you can love your kids the same amount- just in different ways!
Bryce is all Boy! He runs, climbs, and plots trouble where ever he can. He is strong willed, and willing to try anything- that HE wants to! Last year at this time, he was fragile (to me anyways), he was scared of the baby swing at the park!
Today, Bryce had his 2 year check up. He amazed the doctor with how well he is talking, and that he, just like Danika, is past his age for developmental milestones! She made me seem like such a great mom- she asked what we do during the day, because she is always impressed with where they are on the charts! In November, Bryce was barely saying 5 words, today, he had a full conversation with her! He told her he went to Disney, He likes Minnies house, and more. She then reminded me how worried we were!
He is doing good developmentally, he just has a bit of an issue with his leg. His left leg is growing sideways a bit. She said not to worry until he goes to school. If it doesn't fix itself, and is bothering him, or keeping him from doing things, then we will have to see an orthopedic surgeon to decide what to do. But for now, she is not worried because he walks, runs, jumps etc.
Now to the shocking part. When he was measured- he is 27.4 pounds (which actually seemed heavy to me), and he is 37 inches tall! He is in the 50th percentile for weight, but 97th for height. When she checked down the chart, he is the average size of a 33 month old! So yes- he is a big boy!
Last night, he also peed on the potty. I asked him if he needed to go potty before his bath, he said yes, and climbed onto the toilet. I started filling the tub, and he said "pee", I looked and he had peed! I was so happy! But, now he has a new game, we say he is a big boy, and he tells us he is a baby! He is so funny!
Well, here he is, our baby...

And at 1...
And just last Friday in Disneyland...
