Calaway park

In Calgary, we have an amusement park- well it is just on the outskirts. It is called Calaway park. Growing up, Ryan and I always went. Brett went growing up as well. We all remember it being apart of our summers as kids. We remember the fun, the excitement, the fear, and the memories of being with our family!

This year for the kids birthdays, my mom bought us passes. It opened last weekend, and we went as a family. A HUGE family. Mom was in town, Ryan was off work, my cousin and her little boy were here from Ontario, and my other cousin came down with her family from Edmonton. It was a busy day, but tons of fun.





Last weekend, we were back at Calaway park with some friends. (The pass is such a great deal, we have already gotten our money's worth- well moms money's worth!). We had a great time. The kids went on so many rides, and more than once. They really loved the kiddie roller coaster, the baby swings, and the bouncing trucks! We got there when it opened and had planned to stay until early afternoon- next thing we knew, we checked the time and it was 5:15. It was just after 6 by the time we got out of there. It was a GREAT day! We also got to ride some rides. Andrea and I were terrified, but decided to try out "Chaos"- wow, it was so fun. We were doing a combination of laughing and screaming the whole time.

Surprisingly there is a TON for kids to do there. We have been twice- for pretty full days, and haven't even done half of the park. They have expanded since we were small, and have added so much more! If you are in the area, and looking for a fun day- spend the day out there. You will not be disappointed!

And a HUGE thanks to my mom for getting the passes for the kids birthdays! We are going to have a summer filled with fun!
