Happy Fathers Day

This quote was on Leslie's facebook today, and I just had to steal it, because it is so true

Today is a day for all the guys who got to hear the words "I'm pregnant". To go through 9 months of late night trips to the store for jelly beans. Today is a day for any proud man who got to hold his newborn baby and fall in love all over again. Happy fathers day to all the Fathers out there.

I want to wish my dad a very Happy Fathers Day. Having him in my life means everything to me. Even though through the years we haven't been the closest, we are closer than ever now (I think he loves me for my kids- HAHA- just kidding dad!- well sort of), and I hope he has a great Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day to my father in law. You must have been a wonderful role model to my husband, because he is the greatest ever! You have also welcomed me into the family, and made me feel like I belong!

And to my husband- the best Dad of all time. He is amazing with the kids- and they love him to pieces. He is a giant teddy bear, makes them laugh, and plays games with them- he is never afraid to get dirty- or look like a fool! They love you so much Daddy! (and so do I- you are a way better dad than I thought you would be- and I already thought you would be a great dad!)

So today, I wished Brett a happy fathers day- and left him with the two screaming kids- Bryce is getting his molars, and Danika didn't want me to go- so I could have lunch with my mom and Brother. It has been forever since we had time with just the three of us. We took advantage and went to the pub!

When I came back, we all got ready and headed to Strathmore for a great Father's Day BBQ. We all had a great time. Danika watered Oma and Papa's flowers- and soaked herself. Bryce ate some grapes and sat in the shade with us. We got to all have a relaxing visit, great food and beautiful weather.

And- a very special happy FIRST father's day to my cousin's husband. Samantha and Josh had their first baby- Benjamin Jacob early Saturday morning! Congrats to both of you, and Happy Father's Day Josh!
