Danika's 5th birthday party

Today, we had Danika's 5th birthday party. Yep, she is 5 (well almost)! We had a few weather scares this week, but we decided to stick to the plan, and it worked out. It was a little cooler, but not cold. It was windy, but not too much. Although it didn't seem like the perfect day for a party in the park, it WAS!

We got there, and got everything set up. We had borrowed a table from my dad, but didn't have to use it. Because of the "not so perfect" weather- NO ONE was at the park. We had all 3 picnic tables, and the whole park to ourselves! That made for a great party! When you have 28 adults and 13 kids, a park to yourself in a big city is a GREAT plus!

We had a great time, playing at the park, playing in the park, having pizza, candy and cake- oh and of course, presents! Thank you to everyone who came out! And to mother nature for not raining on our rainbow party!

 Cake time (I did the cupcakes, they are rainbow cupcakes with vanilla icing, rainbow sprinkles and rainbow candy. The 5 cake- cupcakes- I had to run out and order when my other cake fell apart right in front of me!- I wasn't happy)

A design your own purse, barbie design book, and nail polish with drier (from us, but Bryce picked most of it himself!) Good job buddy!
