Lets start with the youngest- Mr. Bryce. He is all boy, and 2! That makes for very interesting days around here. He is very independent, and LOVES to learn how to do new things. His terrible twos take over sometimes, but he is still so sweet! His potty training is going amazing! He really only has an accident if he is sent to time out- even if he just went pee- he will pee his pants, I am 100% sure this is just to get back at us! Bryce is always on the move, and loves sports still. He will completely stop moving only for the chance to watch sports! He is definitely in a hurry to grow up, especially now that we have been talking about Danika going to school! He wants to go to school so bad! Thankfully we have signed them up for swimming lessons, they start at the end of September!
Danika, she is 4, and she is so excited about it. She gets to go to school! She got to do some day camps this summer and she loved them, she is so ready to go to preschool! She has been try imaginative lately, she always has been, but lately, she is always thinking things up, from games to words, she is just always thinking! She is growing like a weed, we can't believe the marks on our measuring wall since January. She is so tall! (lucky girl). She is also very caring, and such a great big sister/cousin/friend to the younger kids around her! She always has something witty to say, something to make us laugh, and even a bit of attitude that comes out with everything!
As for me, well, I am doing great. I had my clinic appointment today. Things are going great. My doctor told me that I am the poster child for bone marrow transplants! She always loves seeing me, and seeing what good comes out of what she does! I do have to continue doing the phlebotomies because my iron level still needs to come down a bit more. But, that should be done in November! Other news, Next week, I am leaving the country- without the kids for the first time ever! Mom, Auntie Donna and I are going to Vegas! We are going for 4 days, and although I am so nervous/anxious about leaving them, I am so excited to be going! They are staying with Brett, so I know they will be fine! (I am also a bit upset that I will be missing Danika's first day of school, but that might be good- for her!)
Brett is busy. He is doing really good, and keeping busy with work as well as developing our basement! He is doing such a great job. I love that he can do this stuff, and loves doing it. It is starting to look like a place that we will want to go hang out! We will have our side, which has his fish tank, and tv room for us, and then the kids/other side with a play room, laundry room and storage! I honestly can't wait for him to get his tank set up, I know it will clear up some space upstairs, but I am actually excited to have one of that size, and see the corals get big, and see the different fish that we can have.
Now, as I write this, I look back to what we have been up to this summer. We had many trips to calaway park, having a ton of fun, and making so many memories. We have also been to Riley park, and Elbow falls. This past weekend we had a busy weekend. Danika and I attended our great friend Christie's baby shower, and then on Sunday, we had yet another trip to Calaway park to have a teddy bear picnic with the Care Bears! I can't believe that summer has come to an end. We are back into a fall routine this week- Taylor starts school and we will be getting ready for all the kids to start next week!
I just wanted to share some pictures too...
