slave driver

Well it is official. I am a slave driver. Brett got a lot done this weekend, while I sat around. Well okay, I didn't just sit around. I got the task to get groceries, and some stuff at Wal-mart. So I don't know who worked harder. (Just Kidding). Brett got the carpet in in the basement- it looks amazing. Then he stayed up until 4 am Monday morning (sunday night) moving his fish tank to the basement, and making sure that the house was presentable for Monday morning. Needless to say, he had to sleep in Monday and go into work late. But it all looks amazing, he has turned into a real handy guy! So now we are able to work on the main floor. We have to finish painting, take out the stub walls, and put the floor in. Notice how I say we!
It has finally decided to get warm here in Calgary again- just in time for us to go to White Rock- while it is +13 here, it will only be +7 there and rainy! What were we thinking! Usually people don't come to Calgary in December- but from now on I think they should come here!
We leave on Thursday, and before we get on that plane we have a doctors appointment. We got the pamphlets from the low risk birthing centre yesterday- so now we know for sure on the 20th we will be able to hear the babies heartbeat! That will be so exciting!
