Something new

So, it just hit me that I haven't posted about our "something new" (s) yet. The first is something that we needed. We do like it, but it was a need to get it. It is our new van. We went in after we got back from Jamaica to talk to the people at Toyota about bringing the car back and getting a van. A day after that, we went and picked up our new Sienna! We are enjoying it, and all the features and benefits that come with it. Although, we both said we would never have a mini van!

And then, we have something that I have wanted for a very long time. We came to the sad conclusion that we are not a dog family. Unfortunately, it was just not fair to our dog to have her in this small house. She was a medium dog, but all she did was lay around. We have a small yard, and we are out A LOT! Plus with the travelling we do, well, it just wasn't fair to her. So, we found her a new home, that has a mom that is at home all the time. 2 small kids, and 2 other dogs! She is having a great time there, and we do get updates from them!

Well, with the dog gone, the kids (and I) needed a "pet". We needed something that we could leave at home, was easy, and was clean. So, we decided on a bearded dragon. Yep- I know, you read the other things. They are clean- very clean, easy, and she is like a dog, she likes the attention- when we want to give it to her. She already listens to us. She is great. She is small right now, but when she gets bigger, she will come out more. And, she only poops once or twice a day! (and it is small and easy to pick up right away!).
