We landed in Montego Bay in the afternoon on the Friday, and got our van down to our resort- Beaches Boscobel. We were taken to our rooms, which were AMAZING. The bath tub was the size of a small pool for the kids! We had a bar fridge that was stocked daily with pop, water and juice. I couldn't say anything bad about the room! (Or the resort for that matter).
We quickly put our stuff where we needed it and then headed up for some food. The restaurants there are amazing. We ate at the buffet for most of the trip, but also enjoyed the BBQ hut, the "Arizona" BBQ restaurant, as well as the Italian restaurant. All were so good! The buffet was great too, because each day was a different theme- like American, Seafood, Italian, Jamaican, Mexican, Asian, and Mediterranean. Let me say, all were GREAT! (we have the weigh gain to prove it!). The kids even enjoyed everything they had!
Holly, Danika and I also enjoyed the spa facility. Holly and Danika had their hair braided. We all had our nails done, and Holly and I slipped away for a massage!
While we were enjoying the spa, my dad and Brett were taking a scuba class. Unfortunately, Dad was taking in too much water when he went scuba diving, so he backed out. But, Brett did great and got to go 3 times while we were there!
And yes, we are missing someone here, Mr. Bryce. While we were doing these things, he went to the childcare. He had good moments and not so good moments. He was having a good time there while Danika was with him, and also while Lola was there. But, then she was off, and he didn't want to stay. Which was fine, because I had done my spa stuff, and wanted to hang out with them too.
We also enjoyed many of the Sesame Street activities. The kids had so much fun with those. A tea party, a rock and roll party, Animal adventure- where the Dolphin cove people brought in a parrot for them to hold. We also did baking with cookie monster, and watched the stage show a few nights. There was also a parade which started up in the front entry, with a marching band and all the characters. It moved down the stairs and to the stage. BUT- this is the one bad thing that happened while we were there- I was carrying Bryce down the stairs in the lobby, and didn't see the last stair. I fell, I have a HUGE bruise on my right knee, and did something to my left foot- it still isn't feeling that great- but getting better. It did make me sit and relax for the rest of the trip though! All in all- it was still an amazing trip!
We also enjoyed a day trip away from the resort. We had our very own driver, who took us to some shopping areas (where Brett bought pretty much everything they were selling!), and a mall area that had Margaritaville! It was GREAT! They even have a pool with water slide right at the restaurant. We didn't go on, we were on our way to Dolphin Cove, and had our bathing suits on, but no towels, so we skipped the water! Then, after eating lunch, we headed to Dolphin cove.
At Dolphin Cove we did the "jungle walk", which we saw some parrots, and got to hold the one that was at the resort a couple days before. And some iguana's- and got to hold it! And then we also got to hold and feed some lovebirds! Then we headed over to do the dolphin touch program. All of us, minus Dad, did it. And it was great. Bryce got a bit scared, but that was just because you have to lean over the edge a bit. But, he adjusted and enjoyed it! After that, we walked a bit more and saw the nurse sharks and the sting rays. Then, we headed back to the resort! I am glad we had the opportunity to do all of that!
The resort also had a water park. Which is where we spent most of our time! We were at the beach a couple of times as well. But the kids really enjoyed the water park. They were able to borrow life jackets, and even figured out how to swim by themselves, and go down the water slides themselves! (us catching at the bottom). We had a great time there! Brett even perfected his water slide skills! This is what he was trying to do (this is a guy that works here, and he taught Brett how to do it). We all had fun here!
The beach was great too! I guess one thing I haven't mentioned is that we were pretty much alone at the resort until the friday before we left- yeah, a whole week! So, we had the beach to ourselves. Holly and I took Bryce on the water bike. Danika and Brett did the kayaks. We all had fun building in the sand and swimming in the ocean! (and also just lazing on the beach chairs!).
That is my quick summery! Now on to some pictures- I will try to limit! I am going to try to get a movie together and post that. But, I am not sure when I can get to that, we are pretty busy right now!
(Sorry, I just realized these did not stay in any sort of order!)

We had a great time. And I want to thank my dad and step mom for taking us with them. Unfortunately Sharon wasn't with us. But we all thought about her at every moment, and know that she would have had a great time too. We also spread some of her ashes on the beach on the second night we were there. We will forever have her in our memories, of this trip and many more! We love you and miss you Sharon, thank you for everything.
