Water fun

It is almost Bryce's birthday. He will be 3, and I really still can't believe that my babies are growing up so fast. But, this weekend, my mom asked me to get Bryce's gift from her. I know, it seems early, but we are having his birthday party this weekend, because we leave for Jamaica next week and don't get back until the day before (well actually an hour before) his actual birthday. So, just so it is done, we are doing it before!

Anyways- we decided that it would be easier for me to pick up his gift here- so she didn't have to ship it, and pay the extra tax. On Sunday, the kids and I went to toys r us to pick up his gift. I am glad we did, because there were more options than online, and we ended up getting a GREAT deal on the one he picked. (like half price).

Today after Danika was done school, they were painting, so I decided to put it together. It is a bit chilly outside to play in the water. But, when I was done- they left what they were painting and wanted to play with it. So, I did what any good mom would do. I covered the kitchen floor with a blanket and towel, and put the water table on it. Grabbed some toys, filled up the water table, and they have been playing there for almost 2 hours!

While they were playing, they were listening to the Chipwrecked soundtrack, which has the song "I'm a Survivor" on it. After the CD was done, Danika started singing. I wanted to get some video of them playing, which is why I grabbed the camera. But, she was singing the song, and it is so funny, that is what I started videoing. (Note: I had to use my cell phone because my camera is in the kitchen and they would have noticed!)
