Bryce's birthday party

Yesterday we held Bryce's birthday party. I have to say that it was a great day. Everything went well, everyone had fun. And we made some memories that we will never forget!

We held the party at Coffee and Scream and we realized how these location parties are the way to go. In the morning yesterday we sat around the house. Then we slowly took our time to get ready- we didn't have to clean our house, move furniture around to fit everyone etc. We loaded up the car with the cake, food and presents (which is way easier than getting the house ready!), and away we went!

We arrived at coffee and scream and went right in. The kids ran to play while we set up. The set up took no time and then we were able to sit and visit with the guests. We had cake, took pictures, talked and enjoyed ourselves. Then, when we had about 15 minutes left, we threw stuff out, grabbed the rest of the food, the presents and left- no real clean up needed!

The tables- hubcap cookies, junk in the trunk chips, and plates

 Gasoline

The cake, dip sticks (chocolate dipped pretzels), nuts and bolts (bits and bites), and spare tires (dad's cookies)

Danika had been waiting for a couple days for one of these hubcaps!

After we left coffee and scream, we went over to my dads house. He is having the kitchen re-done while we are all away, so we were helping get everything out of there. Bryce opened his gifts. Dad gave me a beautiful card. And again, we all visited, laughed and had a good time. We ordered some pizza, the kids played and I was able to pawn off the rest of the cake on the kids and Holly and her boyfriend Alex!
Danika had made some presents for Bryce, she wrapped them herself too and he couldn't get into this one- he did try for awhile and then gave up, threw it aside and kept going!

Bubble lawn mower- that Danika picked out for him

 Flying sid!!!

 Spiderman!!!
 Hooded Towel!!!

Clothes!!! He actually handed these to me and said, "Mom, I can use this in Jamaica!"

It was a great day, and one I will NEVER forget!

(these were all just my pictures. We also had a great friend Rick doing pictures as well- he is amazing. Once I get those I will post them too. In the mean time, if you are looking for a great photographer, check him out. http://www.reddieselphotography.com/
