Halloweekends

Fall is here!!!! EVERYONE who knows me, knows how I get at the holiday times. I love them. And the first sign for me that holidays are coming is that fall is here. I LOVE the colours, the smells, the fresh air. It is just great. Then there is thanksgiving, halloween and then Christmas! I love every minute of it all.

Today, we started our fall celebrations and fun with a day at Calaway park for their Halloweekends event. They dress the park up with halloween decorations and even have a Halloween street. The kids had a great time, as did Andrea and myself. It was such a beautiful day- 29 degrees with a nice fall wind. The trees are all the fall shades, with a light blanket of leaves on the ground. It was GREAT!

We made time today to watch one of the shows they have there. We have never stopped, but on Friday at Danika's dance class, we had meet the teacher. Miss Stephanie told us that she is a singer/dancer at Calaway park. So, today, we stopped for one of the shows to see if we could see her. And we did! They were doing a princess show, and had all the disney princesses- just so happened that Miss Stephanie was Cinderella. Danika was so excited. She even got to go up and talk to her and get her picture taken with Miss Stephanie dressed like Cinderella! That was Danika's highlight today!

It was a great day, and a great way to start off all the fall fun around here! We have a few things planned, and I can't wait for all of them!
