Remembering memories

Yesterday we said good-bye to Bretts Grandpa. He was an amazing man. Everyone loved him. He lead a great life, which I learned even more about yesterday. The funeral was held at one of the churches in Strathmore. It was a great service, Brett and I do not go to church, but the service yesterday gave us some things to think about. The Priest made some great points about people passing. I thought I would share them here, because religious or not, we have all had special people pass away, and what he said involves them.

He said that even though those that have passed are not living here on earth anymore, they are still living, in your memories. You would rather have them here with you, but at least you have the memories!

He talked about still praying for those people in your life that have passed, because they still may need your help. And also, keep talking to them. Even though they can see, and know, they want to hear it from YOU!

To all those who have passed away, and been apart of my life, I think of you all, all the time, and miss you tons!

After listening to the service yesterday, and talking with a great friend lately. I do think sometimes we all need that reminder, it isn't what we have, it isn't the material possessions we give others, it is the memories that last!
