October already

I can't believe we are in October already. It is a SUPER busy month for us- so before we know it it will be November!

First- I want to wish my mom a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I know things have been crazy for her lately- I hope she knows she is loved very much for everything she does! I hope it was a good day- and we will celebrate when we get out there next week!

On that note- I had a moment in August- where I found a great deal for a flight to Abbotsford. So- we booked it- but only for myself and the kids! After it was booked I started to freak out. I know (am hoping) that I am freaking out for nothing- but it will be ME on the plane with the 2 kids! Danika gets her own seat- and Westjet has TVs in each seat. So that will be good. And Bryce will be on me. The thing is- on the way there- it is BEDTIME! (call me crazy!)- Thankfully my Grandpa is in White Rock right now, and his wife will be flying back there on the same flight- so we will be checking in together and hopefully being able to sit together so she can help. On the way home though- I am alone! Wish me luck!

That means Brett is a bachelor- and he is looking forward to it. Him and his crazy friends are even talking about going camping for a night- who knows what men think!

This month we also have 3 birthdays, and a halloween play date. Along with Danika's swimming lessons each weekend. Time will fly!

Danika is loving swimming lessons. She was a bit nervous at the first one 2 weeks ago- but she was having a great time last weekend! Hopefully this week goes as well. I have put them both in swimming lessons starting in February- we want them both to be used to the water!

When I ordered Bryce's thank you cards when he was born- I ordered through Kodak.com. They have a great site- so easy, cheap and if you ship to a local store you can get free shipping! BUT- they were very late with them- and didn't send enough! So- they gave me a bit of a credit. I had to use it by the 5th- so yesterday I set up a small photo shoot- just to get a few more updated pictures. I ordered these- but the kids will go at the beginning of November to Superstore for some professional ones.
