Happy Thanksgiving

We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Sorry it is a couple days late- we were out in Beautiful BC!

Thursday night Danika, Bryce and I got to the airport for our flight to see mom and Auntie Donna. We left the house at 3 Alberta time and got to moms house at 10 (Alberta time)- yeah- I could have driven! It was a long night- so we decided to have a quick visit and head for bed.

Friday morning we got up and got ready to go to the farm. It was a beautiful day- and the kids had a blast. Danika loved the goats- we couldn't get her out of there! She even petted a cow! It was great. Then we went for lunch, and headed home to go to the beach to walk the dog!

Saturday we went to Granville Island to take a boat tour of the inlet- it was beautiful. The buildings down there are amazing! I didn't get too many pictures there because Bryce fell asleep in my arms! Then we walked around Granville Island and had lunch. When we came back we took Hardy to the off leash area- Danika and him had a great time running around there!

Sunday I had a pedicure while mom and Auntie Donna took the kids to White Rock beach. The Pedicure was great. Then I visited with Granny- wish it could have been longer, but we had so much to do, and we know she gets tired quickly. Then we had lunch and got our shopping done. Then headed out to the Keg for Thanksgiving dinner. The food was okay, the service was crap, and Danika couldn't even eat her food- it was gross (burgers- yep they screwed up burgers)- when we told the server- he told us that those are hit and miss- and didn't even take it off the bill! So we are now NOT ever going back- and spreading the word to pick somewhere else!

Monday we got up and went to the Halloween Train. It was great- they had crafts and Activities for the kids to do while they waited for the train, and the whole forest was decorated for Halloween. Danika made a pumpkin hat, and got her face painted- and at the end of the ride they got pumpkins- that she decorated for Grandma! We went from there to lunch, and then to visit Uncle Ken- we had a good visit with him while Danika played hockey in his yard. Then we went to Wal-mart with them to get a few more things- but that wal-mart had no carts- WTH! So we had to leave them and go to another wal-mart. That night we packed and watched TV.

Tuesday we had breakfast and headed to the airport- where we were continuously delayed. We should have left at 1:30- and didn't leave until 3:30- getting home just after 5:30- and then waiting for our bags, and driving- we made it to the house just after 7:30. This crazy weather!
