SHE DID IT!!!!

Danika reached a MAJOR milestone this weekend! One that Brett and I have been waiting months for her to do!

SHE CRAWLED!!!!!

I had told mom not to bother baby proofing much- because Danika just sits in one place- she gets around a bit- but nothing that we wont notice. So while we were getting ready on Friday, Danika decided that she needed the dogs ball- and started crawling to it! She is still slow- but wont be soon! Watch out world!

Our trip went well! Danika was great on the plane there- she fell asleep as we were landing- in pure Danika style! The plane ride back was a different story. A baby behind us was SCREAMING so that triggered Danika to scream. About 20 minutes later she fell asleep. Thankfully!

We went to a Mexican restaurant when we landed- I was worried because it was jazz night- with live jazz music- and the only table was right next to them. But Danika LOVED it- she was Dancing!

Friday we went shopping- so much that I had to bring back one of moms suitcases! At the mall we saw barney! Yep- he was there in purple flesh (well a purple costume). Danika doesn't really know who that is- so we watched for a minute- and then kept going. We also went and visited at Auntie Donnas work- where she told everyone about her dancing- but she wouldn't do it! It was funny!

Saturday we went to a shopping area called Steveston. It is like a pier type thing. We met my Uncle and his girlfriend for lunch- they have never met Danika. But she was tired and crabby- she started teething that morning, and is getting 3 more teeth. We had fun looking in all the shops there! We were going to go for dinner at the beach- but we could only get reservations for 8- which with Danika's mood- and that being after bedtime- we cancelled. So mom and I went down there for a walk, and to get some pictures. Then we got a movie and ordered pizza. Danika had a bath, and went to bed.

Sunday we had breakfast, and then got packing. We got to the airport, had a quick snack with mom and got on the plane!

It was a great trip. It was fast, we had a ton of fun! But I am happy to be home now too.

Thanks to Mom and Auntie Donna for putting up with us this weekend!!!!

Here are some pictures and videos!
