resolution

Okay- I have already thought of a new years resolution. And I am going to start it early. I have decided that I will actually keep up with this blog (along with leading a healthier life- but everyone always has that resolution!). I am going to try to write something each week. Not like nothing happens around here- I don't know why I haven't been keeping up with it! So for all my "fans" out there- I will try to keep up with this and let everyone know what is going on.

Danika is doing good. She has started to try to roll over- she only makes it to her side, and only the one side. But she is trying. She is napping when the other kids in the dayhome do- which is great for me- I actually get a break! She has her 4 month appointment next Wednesday- I can't wait to find out how much she weighs now. She is already in 6 month clothes- we are stuck now. I have packed all of the over 6 month clothes- but we don't have that many- so I guess we will have to do a bit of shopping soon. She is getting so big. She does have to get her shots next week too- I am not looking forward to that- but it has to be done. Brett is really good- he holds her, and then when it is over he gives her to me so I can comfort her- and me!

The house is sold- it was very stressful- but it is done. On the last day they had to come through with their financing- they asked for an extension. Which we were not cool with- because if their financing fell through- that was longer our house was off the market. Our Realtor (Tony) called their mortgage broker, and had a chat with him. Then magically it was all done- that was the most stressful hour of the whole thing.

Our new house is coming along nicely. They are siding it now. The electrical, plumbing and heating are done- and they are just waiting for the inspector to come out and give them the go ahead to keep going. The basement was poured last week- so next is drywall. We can't wait- this is where it really takes shape. I am pretty sure Brett uploaded some new pictures to our photo site.

We are now in the process of trying to figure out what to get Danika for Christmas- it is hard when they are this small- and changing so much- I know what she likes right now, and what she can do- but by Christmas that could all change! Wish us luck.

Well I hear someone starting to get up- off I go- Have a great, and safe long weekend everyone!
