from less than 10 to less than 8!!!

Well we had our dr appt on Friday! Brett stayed at work, because I didn't think there would be new info for him! Well we thought wrong. Turns out the placenta hasn't moved. We will have another ultrasound June 6 to check. But there is a 99% chance we will have a scheduled c-section 2 weeks before her due date. The doctor explained that we could leave it and try a natural labour- but that comes with complications- which I am not taking! I do not want to risk anything! So we will go to the ultrasound, and then back to see the cyst dr- who would do the c-section, and book the date. We are thinking of the 7th of July- her birthdate would be 7-7-07! Lucky 7's- which we are lucky we even have her! We didn't want to do a c-section, but after talking about it, we decided it would be better. Brett wont pass out- because he wont see anything except my head, a sheet, and then Danika all wrapped up! I am fine with a c-section, Brett will be home to help out anyways. Just means being in the hospital a little longer. So as we are talking we realize- we just passed the 30 week mark (10 weeks left), and then they bumped it forward two weeks- so we had less than 8 weeks until she gets here. That was a little freaky- but we can't wait!!! This wednesday will be around 7 weeks until she comes- depending on the day we pick!

In other news- sort of sad news. Brett and I had a long talk- and we have decided to give our puppy to friends of ours. We realized we don't really have time for him right now- which will get worse once Danika comes. We love him dearly- and it will be hard to say good-bye- but these friends of ours were the ones that got us interested in the breed- they have a full sized one- Rusty (their dog) and Brody love each other. They love Brody. He will have so much more freedom then he does here. Unfortunately they will be moving to Saskatchewan next month- so we will keep him with us until then- then they will send pictures- and when they come back here (they have family here) they will bring him for a visit. So it will just be like they are caring for him for us. I will be very sad to see him go- but he will be better off there with them, and all the attention he deserves! So much for all these adult choices you have to make- I wish I was 9 and someone else made them for me!!!
