shots

This is one thing that both Brett and I hate- shots for Danika. It has gotten better- she used to cry for a bit after getting them. But at her 12 month she didn't cry at all. This time- she cried for maybe a second- after getting one of the shots that "burns" a little. But we quickly distracted her, and all was well. It is a thing we hate- but both handle really well- some how!

They also weighed and measured Danika- and the part she hated about the whole process- including shots- was the measuring. She had to lay down on that table- which meant no moving (for like 5 seconds!). She didn't cry- but was giving us one of her dirties looks!

She is now in the 85th percentile overall- she weighs 28 pounds and is 33.75 inches tall. She gained 3 pounds in 6 months and grew just over 3 and a half inches- most of which I think she has done in the last couple months- her clothes are starting to get to short!

She has her appointment with her doctor at the end of the month- she will then be less than 2 weeks away from being 19 months- but that was the soonest we could get her in!
