7 and a half months!

Yep- that is right. Danika is 7 and a half months today. I can't believe it.

On the weekend she went to her first swim class. She had a blast- Mommy and Daddy learned some things. We left the house at 9:30- to get to Village Square for an 11:00 class. I thought I needed more time to get there, and get us both changed- that is the thing we learned. Coming out of there- we realized- that the one of us who doesn't swim with her- should take her to change her- while the other one gets changed themselves! BRILLIANT!!! (we will start that this week!)HEHE.

We got their early- of course- and had 45 minutes to kill. The pool was full of lessons- so we couldn't just jump in early. So we sat- we watched the water and all the kids. Danika was in heaven. We were so worried- because if you don't know- Danika has a temper- especially when she doesn't have a nap- which she hadn't. But she did so well. She started getting tired and rubbing her eyes about 10 minutes before the class. So we went and had a shower and got to where we were meeting. All the other kids showed up- they are all in between a year and a year and a half. So Danika is the youngest. They all had fun except a 2 year old boy- he cried the whole time. We practiced floating- front and back, kicking, splashing, jumping and some other things- and did some songs/games. It was great. The teacher even asked how old Danika was- while doing a front float she started kicking her feet. When I told her 7 and a half months, she was so surprised that she was doing that already. I think we have a swimmer on our hands. She was so tired when we left- that we weren't even out of the parking space before she fell asleep!

Thankfully we were at Village Square- I was telling Brett that that is where we went for our shots when we were little- then I remembered Danika had her 2nd flu shot at 4. So we did some other stuff and went down there. The nurse gave her her shot- when she started to cry she push the staples easy button- and Danika stopped- immediately- and was fine. It was great. Since we were there we decided to weigh and measure her. We laid her on the table to measure her- but didn't want to pull her leg- like they usually do- but without pulling- she was 28 inches!!! She has grown an inch (or more) in a month- CRAZY- no wonder she needed new clothes! Then we put her on the scale- which is when she got upset- so we took her off before it was done- but it was already at 21 pounds!!!

Her hair is growing too- it is getting so long! I can't wait to put pigtails in her hair!

Those of you who are wondering- we are not pregnant again- yet. I did take clomid last month and had to again this month. We will be able to test at the beginning of March.

Also- this weekend one year ago- is when we found out we were having a GIRL- what a great weekend- last year and this year!
