Christmas time is here again!

We are so excited around our house! It is time to get in the holiday spirit! It is time to get ready for holiday fun, with family and friends. Last Sunday, it was DECORATING day, and also the return of George, everyone's favourite elf!

Sunday was extra special this year, because first thing in the morning we got ready and headed to my dads for a kick off the holidays pancake breakfast! And a rare thing lately- all 10 of us were there- yes, 10! My dad, Kat, her kids Kristina and Tanner, my sister and Alex, and all 4 of us! Although I was still sick (the flu got me last week), it was a great time! They have decorated the house so nicely, and of course dad made GREAT pancakes (and syrup)- but learned his lesson that 1 pound of bacon will NOT feed all 10 of us!

Once we were done eating, we came home, turned the tunes on and got started decorating the house. The kids did the tree- with a little help from us- this year, the majority of the ornaments are on the bottom, in the front! But, we love it!

The house is now festive, and even the cats are enjoying it! (Although Max is not happy that I have put presents under the tree, he was really enjoying sitting under there).

As I said before, Sunday was also the return of George. He came back on Sunday with a letter and some gifts for the kids- a movie, 2 books and a colouring book. Sunday night, I was still not feeling well, so Monday morning we found him in the Christmas tree. (Thanks Daddy). And then this morning, well, I awoke at 5:45 realizing that George was still in the wreath where we left him. I panicked, because since getting the cats, I can NOT sneak downstairs in the morning! Well, I don't know how, but I did it this morning. Then came back upstairs. The kids found him on the couch playing Mario Cart!

And tonight, well, George had a long flight to the North Pole. So, he is napping in the kleenex box! (Now that I am feeling better, I will try to remember to do pictures too!)

I have to share the photos in a slideshow. I have used my storage space on blogger, and now they are asking me to pay- which I am not going to do. So, slideshows from photobucket will have to do! (some of these pictures were taken with instagram and then downloaded to my computer!)
