Pumpkin Hunting

Last weekend, it was cold! And we had yet again, another busy weekend. On Saturday we went to a place to make some Christmas presents for family- I can't say anything because I know they all read this and it would give some stuff away! In the evening, we went to a BBQ. Thankfully it was just basically a pot luck dinner, because it was cold!

Sunday though- it was cold, and of course, we had tickets to go to Butterfield Acres and do their pumpkin hunt! When we went last year, it was beautiful out. We had so much fun checking out all the animals etc. But, this year, it was nasty! We quickly checked out some of the animals, and then found shelter until it was our turn for the hay ride to find the pumpkins. After we got the pumpkins, we convinced the kids to decorate them at home! Then, we headed for warmth and a good meal at my dads!

We also had an exciting Friday evening...

We adopted 2 cats. They are brothers, and from Florida. They came back here with their owner when she was done school. But, she has since decided to go back and finish up a bit more school, and didn't want the cats to make that trip again. They are 2, and we have named them Myles and Max. So far they are a bit shy. Myles does come out a bit more now. Max will come around I am sure. But for now, he loves being under Danika's bed!

 This is Max, on Danika's bed- we put him up there one night and she was VERY happy!

 And this is Myles on Danika's pillow! (they both love her room, and she loves that they do!)
