updates on me and George

I am going to start with me! Why? Well, because I know you are all reading so you can keep up to date with George, so if I go first, you will read about me too! LOL!

On Monday I had my regular appointment with the BMT clinic. Right now, I go every three months, but come March, I will move to every 6! Yep- I will only go twice a year! Everything is good, again, I am the perfect patient! They have a new nurse down there, and she wasn't working directly with my doctor on that day, but everyone there wanted her to meet the "miracle patient". So, she came in to talk to me first, and told me that all the nurses fight over who gets to tend to me, because they don't really have to do much, so it is like a mini break! I love hearing stuff like that!

So, I only really had two questions for them. 1) if I needed anymore phlebotomies, and 2) Could I dye my hair. The answers- well one was good and one was not so good, and honestly, I wish it was in that order! I do have to have at least 2 more phlebotomies, which sucks, I really don't like those things! But, oh well, it will be over soon! And yes, I could dye my hair. I was hoping this would help it feel fuller. I have some many grey hairs, and unfortunately they are all sort of on the top of my head- and on one side, so it looks really thin, and bald on the top one side! So, by Dying it all one colour, it may look thicker- or at least look like there is hair there! What do you think...

I have to add that I LOVE the foaming hair dye. I, obviously, have not dyed my hair since before I was pregnant with Bryce, so it may not be new, but it is to me, and I will be using it for a long time!

Now, for what you have all been waiting for, George! Tonight, George is in the garland star on the wall with the lights.

What has he been up to this week though, well, he has been busy, maybe that is why he is just in the star tonight!

Sunday morning, we woke up to him on the table, with Breakfast. He made some red (they are red, but you can't tell by the picture) oatmeal muffins with melted peppermint kisses in the middle!

Monday morning, he had made a curtain of snowflakes. He used muffin wrappers for the snowflakes. He then was in the process of hanging it up in the entry when we woke up- he was still up on the shelf with the tape!

Then tuesday morning, we woke up to a convoy of hot wheels! The lead from the car garage to the bathroom door- which was shut. So, we opened the door, to find that the convoy continued, and George was sitting on the counter- in Diego's truck, with a surprise for the kids- some chocolates!

Love George and your new hair colour! The blood tests will be over soon, but I am very happy that they are looking after you.
