Shots

Tis the season! Flu season that is! I usually avoid flu shots, but was told I must from my doctors. After avoiding it for sometime, we were sort of forced into going. Bryce had his immunizations today. When they called to remind us yesterday, they said they would do all of our flu shots then too.

So this morning we packed up and headed to the health center. Bryce's appointment was first. They measured him, 33 inches tall! And weighed him, 25 pounds! Then we headed into the room. The nurse explained that he is in the 75th percentile for height and just under the 50 th for weight. Together he is in the 50 th percentile, still my little man. She did mention watching him for asthma, she heard him weezing a bit before the appointment while running around the waiting rooms toy room. We knew we needed to watch for it, they told us in the NICU when he was born. So, we will make an appointment with our doctor for that. Then we did his shots. He got two in one arm and one in the other, poor boy! He did great though. His included the flu shot, so he was done!

We had to wait for our turn for the flu shot, it was quick and painless really. Danika went first, she watched the needle go in, looked like she was going to freak, but nothing! Then I went, then Brett, no tears from us either, and yes,Danika watched everything!

After shots we headed to Wendy's for a nice healthy lunch!
