Light the Night walk

We knew about the light the night walk before this all happened. We learned about it when Bretts cousin got leukemia. We have participated in it as much as we could- having to miss the last two years due to things coming up with the kids. But we will be there in full force this year.

There has to be a way that we can help, and so far this is it- raise money to help the doctors understand blood cancers more. It is one night, it is usually a beautiful night, there are tons of people, and balloons that "Light the night".

I know there were many people out there that wanted to help us, and this is a way that you can help us- and many others who have to go through this. Maybe your donation will be the one that puts them over the main goal and gives them that extra to help these patients going through this- you never know. This is one thing that we are very passionate about, and are very thankful to everyone that has helped us out in the past, currently and in the future- and to everyone who will walk with us, and sponsor our team- for a great cause.

They have these walks all over North America- so if you can't walk with us here, maybe you can walk "with" us in your city. We have set up our team here- walking with Brianne. You can go to this link and join the team, or donate/sponsor us.

Or you can go to http://www.lightthenight.org/
to see about setting up a team in your city.

I know the walk here is in September, but you can sign up now- and if you can't make it that night we understand- things come up. We would like to have at least 10 members on our team, so sign up for a fun night of walking with us to help find a cure. If you don't want to sign up- make a donation, of any amount to help us reach our goal, and if you can come out to walk that night- just meet us there- we will pick a meeting place closer to the date and let everyone know.

I don't want anyone else to go through what I did- but unfortunately many learn each day that they have a blood cancer!

Thanks for the help to fight this cause!
Brianne
