Crazy times

Yes- I do remember saying that I was going to do a post a week to keep everyone updated- but this summer has flown right by. I do remember sitting down getting a moment to myself- and thinking- I should get on that blog! But then I find something that needs done- or one of the kids needs me.

At this moment- Bryce is fighting a nap, Danika is napping- and all the other kids are sound asleep too. So I think this moment will be the best to sneak a quick update in.

Lets go from youngest to oldest!

Bryce is going to be 4 months soon. Yep- time does fly. He is a big boy! He is wearing 6 month clothes already! He is very nosy and does not want to sleep- because he will miss something! He is a thumb sucker- so we were happy that we didn't have to figure out when and how to get rid of the soother this time- but we have NO idea how to get rid of his thumb! He is starting to get more hair. And has also started eating solids- he wasn't too big on the rice cereal- so we mix it with fruit- which he loves. He has that in the morning, and veggies at night- it is going really well. He is a GREAT sleeper- he goes to bed when Danika does- usually in between 7:30 and 8- and wakes up about 6:30 or 7! YAY Bryce!

Danika is a GREAT big sister- she loves Bryce. She is becoming much more independent- she is going up and down the stairs without help, putting on her shoes- and figuring out how to take her clothes off! (wonderful!). She is also potty training. We started at the beginning of august- and she is doing great with pee- but we are having some poop issues this week. But that is expected.

I am getting back in the swing of working full time- I have been working 4 days a week since Danika was about 8 months old. But it was time- so we are back to 5 days a week. I have some new children starting- so it has been kind of crazy getting back into the routine. All the kids are back from their holidays, and looking forward to things to come. I also found out recently that I have gall stones- we are not sure if I will have to have surgery- but we will see once I can get in with a surgeon and see what he wants to do.

Brett is working from home now. Which is going better than we both thought. He is getting work done, and the kids are adjusting to him being here. He is enjoying it- and I think it is great that he is here. He is very willing to help out when I need him. (he even offered to do my wal-mart run for me!)

We also got a new kitty- his name is Chester- and he is Danika's baby! She loves him and he loves her. It is too cute. She can even carry him around the house. He is adjusting as well right now- and learning when is a good time to play and when is not (4am!).

We had a great summer- but now it is coming to an end and we all need to adjust to real life again! Should be fun.

Hopefully once I get into a normal routine again, I will have more time to update!

Here are a couple pictures
