Friday- Danika, Bryce and I took Holly out for her birthday. We tried to go downtown- but parking is crazy. So we went to Edworthy park, then out for lunch. We had a great time. Then we got to go and meet Bryce's Best friend. Bretts best Friend Ravi and his wife Esther welcomed their baby boy just a week earlier. So we went for dinner and a visit with them- while trying to get pictures of all the boys- Bryce punched Julian in the mouth- it was funny to see the love they have for each other already!
Saturday- All of us got up early to drive out to Strathmore for the Heritage day parade. Danika LOVED it. There was a ton of horses- which impressed Danika. It was great. Then we had lunch with all of the family. While we were there Danika kept asking to go potty. So when we got home she went in panties- she just had accidents that night though.
Sunday- we went to pick up a jumparoo for Bryce, and then to Holly's birthday party. Danika was in panties- but quickly soaked all of the ones we had. The party was a blast- we didn't get home until 11pm!
Monday it was rainy and cold- so while we were potty training- we decided to clean the house and garage- it feels good to have that done! Potty training didn't go too well this day either.
Wednesday was the big turn around in training. Tuesday night I made a MAP (like Dora has)- it has 20 toilets on it. Each time Danika goes pee or poop on the potty she gets to put a sticker on the map. After the 20 toilets there are some dora stickers- and when she gets to them- she gets to go to the store and buy a new Dora DVD. We weren't sure if she understood- but that night she went pee on the potty twice. And Wednesday was a full potty day- even a Poop- so it worked- somehow!
