Once again- time flies

Yesterday Bryce turned one month old! I can't believe it. He has been home for 2 weeks now, and we are getting into the swing of things. We have even attempted and succeeded at a few day outings! We did learn one thing though- we need a bigger diaper bag! For one day out- with 2 kids we had 4 bags! YES 4! We had Bryce's diaper bag, a bag for him with bottles, Danika's backpack (diaper bag), as well as a bag with changes of clothes for both of them- since we were going to 2 different events!

Also- Danika will be 2 in a month. Last year I was so prepared- early- for her party- this year- well I have a theme, and sent out her invites to her friends- that is about it. I still just can't believe that she will be 2.

This weekend was fun filled for us. We had some good friends and their kids over on Thursday- the girls loved playing in the yard- and found the little bit of dirt that is back there! Friday was pretty cold- so we did a few errands and came home- we also got to check out Bass Pro shop- it is amazing! Then on Saturday we had a birthday party to go to- which was great- Danika had a blast. Then we went to the Hendricks' Karaoke party- which was wonderful. We have never actually gone- but it was a blast. Danika especially loved it- she was dancing- on the dance floor at first, and then moved on to the stage! She also kept stealing the mic and wanting to sing too! I am sure she will one day. Then on Sunday we got up and took the kids to the zoo- Danika has been wanting to go. It was Bryce's first time- and like Danika he slept through the whole trip! Then Grandpa and Grandma came to visit!

Brett also went to a movie sunday night with one of his friends- so I had the two kids to get into bed. All was going well- I gave Danika a bath and got her to bed. Then went to give Bryce a bath- changed his poopy bum, and while I was wiping he was farting. Well it was just farting until- all of a sudden- POOP- EVERYWHERE! It was on me, him, the change table and the dresser- it was all over! I was grossed out- and laughing at the same time! After I cleaned that up- I gave him a bath and bottle and he was off to bed- and I had about an hour of quiet time before Brett came home!!!

I also want to say CONGRATS to my cousin Samantha- and her new husband Josh- they got married this past Saturday- unfortunately we couldn't make it since the wedding was in Ontario- But we have seen pictures and it looks like it was a blast!
