Nice weather on May long weekend???

That was odd- but very nice! We had a wonderful weekend. We enjoyed every second of the wonderful weather.

Friday, Danika and I joined some friends at the zoo (sorry no pics, I forgot the camera). It was very hot- and I remembered to reapply sunscreen to Danika a million times, but forgot about me- so got a bit red! It was a great day- we got there around 10:30 and stayed until 3! Danika really liked the bears this time!

Saturday, Brett, Danika and I went to Elbow Falls for a picnic lunch. We couldn't go up the whole way to look at the falls, because it was all stairs, but we did see the water- and that is all that mattered to Danika. She had so much fun. She loved being outside, there was a little wind- which was nice, because it was HOT. She ate, and we walked- and she was smiling the whole way! After we were done there we picked Holly up from her Grandmas to spend some time with us. We then went over to a friends house so Brett could help them with their deck, and we played inside with the kids.

Sunday, Holly and I stayed home with Danika while Brett went back to work on the deck. I got the whole house cleaned- Danika had a 3 hour nap- and a 2 hour nap. So it all got done- I was so proud! We also got a walk in, and some play time- it was a nice day.

Monday, we all tried to go to Riley park- but it was cooler (still very warm though), so we went to confederation park to walk around. Danika played at the park, and then we saw some ducks! Danika was overjoyed! She LOVES ducks- she quaked for awhile after- and then moved on to waving at everyone and saying "bye bye". Some people actually amused her- and said it back. Then we went to Peters for lunch, and to the fish store.

Danika is getting some more teeth- bringing our total to 5 now- I am waiting for number 6 to start showing its little white head too. She is really clingy- and will sometimes go to Brett- but no one else. It has been fun!

We also got our driveway- and our top soil for the yard- which is very exciting!

I think that is about it for now- here are the pictures from the weekend!
