21 weeks

Wow- I can't believe it- tomorrow Danika will be 21 weeks old. And next Tuesday she will be 5 months old. Time does fly. I am loving every minute of watching her grow. She is getting bigger, and stronger. She loves to sit up (against me), and she loves to stand. I have been holding her- but not tightly and she will stay up for a long time. She has held herself up on her intellitainer too- and she thinks that is really funny. She still doesn't like being on her stomach- but when she is on the floor laying on her back, she wiggles around and ends up in a different spot.

Danika also had a big moment this weekend. We were staying at my dads house, and when I went to get her in the tub, Brett noticed that her cheek was really red. Knowing that is a sign of teething, I stuck my finger in her mouth, and checked around- there it was- already poking threw her gums. She was getting her first tooth- bottom right. I was impressed with how happy she was while it was coming threw. We thought we had spoken too soon, Sunday night she was up 4 times. Not hungry or anything- just up and screaming. We blamed the tooth after that, but when I went to feel how the tooth was doing, I realized she was getting another tooth. The bottom left one was coming up too! This morning, her gums are pretty swollen, and the teeth are further up- but she is still in a good mood- thankfully! Our baby is growing up!

Christmas with mom, Grandpa, Marion, Ryan, Taylor, Jessica, Murray and Mitchell is this Saturday- I can't wait.

Only 3 more weeks until Christmas!!!!!!!
