FINALLY!!!!!

We have floors upstairs! Brett finished doing the floors this weekend, and we got the house all cleaned up and looking like a house again! It did take a long time- but it is worth it. There are pictures on our photo site. I was trying to make a before and after power point- but every time I use that program, my computer gets slow and does weird things. So I tossed that! But you can have a look at our house pictures and reno pictures on the fotki site!
I am so glad he got those done- and believe it or not the upstairs was a lot harder than he thought! It took way longer than planned. Brett thought he could finish in a weekend- so we made a bet- I won- and he had to get up at 9 on the next saturday and make me breakfast! This may be harder to believe- but he did get up at 9, and he made me the best crepes I have ever had!
Getting out of bed for the first few times after we put the floors in was weird. When you step down and expect carpet- hardwood is a bit of a shock! But we love it and the house, and rooms all look bigger!
This Wednesday will be week 25 in our pregnancy- we really can not believe that it is going by so fast. Next week will be the end of the 2nd trimester and the beginning of the last trimester! No wonder I am getting so big! We really can not wait to meet Danika! I have to go next weekend to do the gestational diabetes test- I am worried about that one, not only do I have to drink some nasty drink (which I had to do before for fertility stuff), but also if you fail the test, and are found to have gestational diabetes you have to test your blood daily and take insulin shots- all that know me know I am terrified of needles, I get by with all the ones I have to do- but having to do it every day would freak me out! So wish me luck!
