The last few weeks

Time has flown by in the last few weeks. Danika's party was a big success. Bryce had his shots. Then we had my mom and Aunt come out for a visit- which went very well. And now we are getting back into the swing of things.

Bryce did great with his shots- he was sleeping, and did wake up about half way through the first one. They do three- so by the last one he wasn't very impressed- but I picked him up and put him on my chest- and he was fine! He was 11 pounds 13 ounces and 23 inches long.

Mom and Auntie Donna showed up on Friday- we had a great night, visited with some friends, and got to bed way later than we had planned!

The next day- Saturday was Danika's actual birthday. Mom, Auntie Donna and I took her to the stampede- while Brett watched Bryce. (He did very good- but don't tell him that!). Danika loved the superdogs, and the other animals there- but wasn't very happy about the rides. She only went on 2- one being the carousel where she made me hold her. She went with Brett at about 4- over to a friends place- yes he took Bryce and Danika- and again did a great job! Mom and I stayed at the grounds to go to Nashville North. After 4 hours of waiting in line we got in. The line for food was another hour at least- so we just went for the beer! We were pretty drunk when the concert was over- Thankfully Auntie Donna came back to pick us up!

Sunday Auntie Donna left- and mom and I took the kids shopping while Brett went off roading! Mom bought Danika her birthday present (a little tykes cozy coop- which she LOVES- but we HATED putting together)- and we had dinner out- it was a nice day!

Monday I was back at work- but mom had some friends stop by- as well as had Taylor (which is a whole other story). Tuesday mom went out visiting, came back and took all of us out for dinner, and then we dyed my hair and got her car loaded up.

Wednesday she had to leave:( We did figure out though that I can take both kids on the plane without Brett- which is good! Then Brett and I took the kids to their drs appt. Danika is 31 pounds, 35 inches and at the developmental stage of a 3 year old. Bryce is 12 pounds 6 ounces and 23 inches long- he is at the developmental stage of a 4 month old! So all is well!
