Baby fever

Okay- I have heard of Baby fever when you are not pregnant- but want to be. But what about Baby fever when you are pregnant???

I really can not wait until the 19th. Christmas is my favorite time of year- I really start getting excited about it right after my birthday in September. But this year- I can't wait for 6 days before. On the 19th we will find out if we are having a boy or girl. And that day can not come fast enough.

I am not sure what I really want to have this time. When I was pregnant with Danika, we were sure for awhile that we were having a boy- even though I really wanted a girl- the day I went in, I told my mom that I thought it was a girl- and almost cried when the tech confirmed. But now- I have my little girl- it would be nice to have a little boy- then I would have one of each. But I also would love another little girl. I just can't decide. I can't wait to get excited over our little bundle- once we know what we can call him/her.

We have decided on names- if the baby is a boy his name will be Bryce Michael. And if the baby is a girl- her name will be Brooklyn Rose.

We came up with Brooklyn one day while watching Yo Gabba Gabba with Danika- Brett just looked at me and said- I love that name. So it stuck. For Bryce though- that took awhile. We had narrowed it down to three names. Then we went to get dessert one night- and while talking to Danika on the way there- she started saying "bebe byce"- she said it all the way to the restaurant. When I went to get her out of the truck- she pointed at my belly and said "bebe byce". Brett and I took that as a sign- since Bryce was one of the names on our list.

I REALLY can't wait to find out who this is!!!!!

Oh- and a few weeks ago I had some bleeding and was in the hospital- well it was caused from a blood clot on the placenta- and the baby is not really effected by it. But I started bleeding again. My doctor got me in right away- and all is well with the baby- I just really have to watch what I do. Unfortunately I started bleeding at about 1:30am- so had to wait to call the dr- then wait to get in. I was up for hours. So- I decided to rent a doppler- the little wand that you can hear the babies heart beat with. I am so excited and can't wait to get it. It should be here this week- or by Monday. It will ease my mind if the bleeding happens again- which I am told it probably will. I will keep the doppler until I can start feeling regular kicks.

Oh- and Next week- Danika will be 17 months old! I still can't believe that either! Can't wait to see how she does at Christmas. She LOVES Santa- she has a stuffed Santa that I had as a kid- she takes him everywhere- she even sleeps with him! Oh- and her new thing is saying "No way" to everything!
